Hi there!
After finishing my M.A. in Instructional Design at California with a Fulbright Scholarship, I returned to Spain. Since then I have worked for the Department of Education, directed the Fundación Botín educational program and finished my Ph.D. with the thesis “Design of Game Experiences to Promote Civic Competence.” I am currently teaching at the University of Cantabria and researching the field of game studies.
A teacher at heart, I have worked at all stages of the educational system (kindergarten to university) in Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States. I help teachers through Easyyeah.com and before that I launched with some friends Ekomind.com. a site to promote sustainable consumption through games.
I love to travel the world and play music.
Here, talking a little about videogames and digital cultures as part of my residency at DCRL in Lüneburg.
